29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information. On 2/18/15, at the Pak Lite Suwanee facility, the employer did not ensure employees were provided Global Harmonization System training to make employees aware of new label requirements for chemicals. Chemical employees may be exposed to include: Talc, HM10 Max, and AW-2443 Opaque White. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
