29 CFR 1926.502(d)(15): Anchorage points used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment were not independent of any anchorage point being used to support or suspend platforms and capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN) per employee: (a). Worksite located at 8251 N. Booth, Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was observed attempting to tie-off to metal stud that had been installed on the roof structure. The employee connected to the stud at a point on the stud that would create a side-load on the stud if the employee fell and cause the stud to collapse.

Worksite located at 8251 N. Booth, Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was observed using a 5' lanyard that was not shock-absorbing, thus the system would not be able limit the fall arresting force to under 900 pounds.
