OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees wile using a ladder in a manner other than prescribed by the manufacturer. Location: 4 East 75th Street On or about: 21 March 2015 1145 AM a) Employee working on ladder straddled the front and back of ladder while attempting to cut the heads off of bolts underneath a balcony. AMONG OTHER METHODS, FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHODS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARDS ARE: 1. As per the manufacture's specification and safety guidelines per Featherlite Industrial Ladders safety guide pg. 19 "Do not straddle front and back"
