On or about March 26, 2015, on the north side of a new residential structure, employees working beneath employees while handing up plywood to the second floor were not wearing hard hats, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by falling debris. b. On or about March 26, 2015, on the north side of a new residential structure, an employee working beneath employees while surveying wood planks was not wearing a hard hat, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by falling debris.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a. On or about March 26, 2015, on the north side of the house, the ladder used to access the second level of the framed structure did not extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface, exposing employees to an 10 feet 7 inch fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about March 26, 2015, on south side of a new residential construction frame house, two employees installing floor joist were not protected from a 10 feet 3 inch fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system. Heritage & Son Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 988120, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on September 18, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 29 Royal Fern Way, Lot 31, Santa Rosa beach, FL 32459.
