Employers shall have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use. 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a)Schroder Truck Repair, 8909 Yosemite Street, Henderson, CO 80640: On or before March 20, 2015 the employer did not assess the shop to determine if hazards were present or likely to be present and did not determine the need for personal protective equipment. Employees handle oil, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, transmission oil, gas, spray paint and diesel and have not had any chemical training. This condition exposed employees to exposure to chemical hazards.
