1926.100(a): At this job site, employees exposed to possible head injury from falling or flying objects or from impact with hand tools, equipment and building materials during construction operations were not wearing hard hats: Employees removing debris from around the ground level of the house to the trash trailer were exposed to struck-by hazards due to no hard hats being provided while workers on the roof removed the old roofing materials.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Employee(s) performing residential roofing work at a job site located at 5734 SW Mission, Topeka, Kansas were exposed to an approximately 8 feet fall hazard to the ground below due to no fall protection being provided. The Gardner Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 634638, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 719 & 723 Topeka Blvd., Topeka, Kansas.
