Employees worked with chemicals such as, but not limited to Sysco Reliance Bleach, a corrosive cleaner with a pH of 12.6, which contains sodium hypochlorite and requires the use of personal protective equipment, such as, but not limited, to chemical gloves and chemical goggles.

29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: Facility - On, or about, May April 1, 2015, employees were not required to wear protective eye and, or face equipment when required to work with chemicals such as, but not limited to, Sysco Reliance Bleach used to mop the floor and wipe facility bathroom surfaces. Sysco bleach is a corrosive cleaner containing sodium hypochlorite with a pH of 12.6 and requires the use of chemical gloves and chemical goggles.
