29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours. a) On or about February 20, 2015 - An employee delivering mail slipped on ice and broke her ankle which resulted in an in-patient hospitalization. The accident was reported to OSHA on February 23, 2015, approximately 48 hours late. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
