All woodworking tools and machinery shall meet other applicable requirements of American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery:    a)  Front of Building - On or about 03/30/2015, pursuant to American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, 4.1.2(c), a Ryobi 10 inch portable table saw (serial #84011245) used to cut and rip architectural panels was not provided with a spreader.   b)  Front of Building - On or about 03/30/2015, pursuant to American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, 4.1.2(b), a Ryobi 10 inch portable table saw (serial #84011245) used to cut and rip architectural panels was not provided with non-kickback fingers or dogs.   c)  Front of Building - On or about 03/30/2015, pursuant to American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, 3.1.3(c), a Ryobi 10 inch portable table saw (serial #84011245) used to cut and rip architectural panels was not provided with a magnetic restart device whereby employee would be protected from the unexpected restart of the saw in the event of an power interruption.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.304(h)(1): Each circular crosscut table saw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw blade above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut:   a)  Front of Building - On or about 03/30/2015, a Ryobi 10 inch portable table saw (serial #84011245) used to cut and rip architectural panels was not provided with a hood or top guard to protect employees from accidental contact with the saw's rotating blade.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
