29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. a) 23 Winslow Dr., Jackson: On or about April 2, 2015, the employer Apogee Builders LLC , had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. As such, framing employees were exposed to fall hazards of 10 - 18 feet, while conducting carpentry activities without proper use of fall protection. Additionally, framers working under hoisted trusses were not wearing hard hats and were exposed to overhead struck-by hazards. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
