29 CFR 1910.184(f)(1): Employers did not use only wire-rope slings that have permanently affixed and legible identification markings as prescribed by the manufacturer, and that indicate the recommended safe working load for the type(s) of hitch(es) used, the angle upon which it is based, and the number of legs if more than one. Location: 188 Rock Major Road, Fairfield, CT 06824 The six (6) foot long wire rope sling used to during tree removal operations was not equipped with a permanently affixed and legible identification marking stating the recommended safe working loads.
