29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: Jobsite - southwest wall: On, or about, 04/07/2015 the employees were performing work above unprotected reinforcing steel and were not protected from impalement hazards in the following instances: (a) Basement sections of protruding rebar were not capped or made safe from impalement. (b) Southwest wall sections of protruding rebar of the wall were not capped or made safe from impalement.
