29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not compile a complete list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet. On or about 04/08/2015 and at times prior thereto, Holcim US Inc., located at 840 Visco Drive, Nashville, TN, did not develop a complete inventory of hazardous materials currently being used on the dock and Dock Shop. The list did not include (but not limited to) Thrifty Sorb; Lincoln 7018 Excalibur Welding Rods; Lubriplate Chain and Cable Fluid CRC Brakleen Parts Cleaner; Sheetrock Joint Compound; Claire Select Force Wasp & Hornet Killer; BernzOmatic Propane. These materials are classified as eye, skin, and/or respiratory tract irritants. Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle materials and expose themselves to possible allergic reactions, skin, and respiratory irritations. Holcim US Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894639, Citation number 1, Item number 1 with respect to a workplace located at 2169 Channel Ave, Memphis, TN 38113. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

On or about 4/8/2015 and at times prior thereto, Holcim US Inc., located at 840 Visco Drive, Nashville,TN, exposed employees to acute and/or chronic chemical exposures that could cause bodily injury and/or disease, allergic reactions, and various irritations both internal and external and did not maintain a copy of the Safety Data Sheet for (but not limited to) Thrifty Sorb; Lincoln 7018 Excalibur Welding Rods; Lubriplate Chain and Cable Fluid; CRC Brakleen Parts Cleaner; Sheetrock Joint Compound; Claire Select Force Wasp & Hornet Killer; BernzOmatic Propane. These materials are classified as eye, skin, and/or respiratory tract irritants.
