29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4): Suitable guard(s) were not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation in the press area of finger jointer machine: a) On or about April 2, 2015, the removing of the bolt on the board finger press arm of the Finger Jointer Machine located in the Ruff Mill press area, Serial #FJA200R-6195, was not guarded to protect employees from amputation hazards caused by employee's hands or fingers entering the point of operation during the machine's cycle. b) On or about April 10, 2015, the saw guard trolley of the Finger Jointer Machine located in the Ruff Mill press area, Serial #FJA200R-6195, was not guarded to protect employees from potential amputation hazards caused by employee's hand or fingers entering the point of operation during wood cutting operations.
