OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in which an employee was exposed to the hazard falling while working on a platform of a scissor lift that had the safety gate wedged open. (a) Location - 545 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA: On or about 3/30/2015, an employee was working from a platform of a scissor lift and the safety gate was not closed.
