29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: a) Fernwood Ave baseball field, Roseland, NJ Employees installing a sewer line was exposed to struck-by and crushing injuries in the 7 feet deep trench which was not adequately sloped or protected by shields or shoring. Violation was observed on or about 04/14/2015. The The Shauger Group Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314674607, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/29/2010, with respect to a workplace located at Grove St. & Everett Place, East Rutherford, NJ.
