Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that all exits were not marked in accordance with regulation:      (a)  At the Pleasant Hill Facility, all exits were not marked in accordance with regulation.

29 CFR 1910.38(f)(1):  The employer did not review the emergency action plan with each employee covered by the plan when the plan was developed or when the employee was assigned initially to a job:    The Emergency Action Plan was not reviewed with each employee covered by the plan upon initial assignment to a job.      The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.38(f)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941333, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 01/17/2014, and became a Final Order on 02/06/2014.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos, which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
