29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   The employer does not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by a fall protection system.  This violation occurred on or about April 15, 2015 when an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of more than 6 feet while performing framing work on the north side of a house under construction without a fall protection system.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure employees engaged in residential construction activities at heights six feet or more are protected from falling.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    The employer does not provide training to employees potentially exposed to fall hazards. This violation occurred on or about April 15, 2015, when employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing framing work on the north side of a house under construction without being trained to recognize and minimize the hazards of falling.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are trained to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed:  The employer does not ensure that ladder(s) were used for the purpose for which they were designed.  This violation occurred on or about April 15, 2015 at the north side of a residential construction site where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when using a step ladder in the folded position.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that ladders are being used for the purpose for which they are designed for.
