29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(ix): Lamps for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage by a suitable fixture or lampholder with a guard. Butterfly Valve Area near the outside Scroll Case access point, Cougar Dam- (a) The unguarded light fixture, located 66" from the floor, was not protected from damage. The Army Corps of Engineers was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910. 305(a)(2)(ix), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 941517, Citation Number 2, Item Number 5 , and was affirmed as a final order on 12 /11/2013 with respect to a work place located at, Rufus, OR and Inspection Number 96892 Citation 2, Item Number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/16/2011. Note: Abatement certification and supporting documentation are required for these items.
