Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when installing steel columns. The columns were lifted by using a lifting device and wire rope, which was attached to the lifting carriage of a SkyTrack 8042 Rough Terrain Forklift. The Employer did not ensure the wire rope slings had permanent identification markings.
