29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- 7 Benson Street, Block 10601, Lot 7.04, Tinton Falls NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 11 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation and other related activities from the roof of a residential structure's awning with a pitch of approximately 3 on 12. Condition observed on or about 04/15/15.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- 7 Benson Street, Block 10601, Lot 7.04, Tinton Falls NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 11 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation and other related activities from the roof of a residential structure's awning with a pitch of approximately 3 on 12. These employees had not received training, from the company, to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize the hazards. Condition observed on or about 04/15/15. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THIS EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
