29 CFR 1926.302(e)(1): Powder actuated tool(s) were operated by employee(s) who had not been trained in the operation of the particular tool(s) in use: Jobsite: The employer did not ensure through providing specific instruction and observation that any employees operating powder activated tools were appropriately trained in the proper use of powder actuated tools. On or about 02/26/2015, the employee, operating a Remington Model 496 powder activated tool sustained lacerations on the right hand when the powder actuated tool inadvertently fired.
