29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s) At the facility the employer is failing to ensure that powered industrial truck(s) are taken out of service when unsafe. Specifically; the rubber pad(s) on the control pedal(s) were not in place when operating the fork lift. This was observed on the Toyota Fork Lift #17 brake pedal and both the accelerator and brake pedal of the Toyota Fork Lift #10.
