29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Roof, Residence, 632 Bloom Street, Danville, PA - Employees engaged in repairing and shingling the steep sloped and low sloped portions of a residence roof worked were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard that ranged from ten-foot (10') to twenty three-foot, eight-inches (23'8") above ground level as observed, on or about April 21, 2015. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is not required for this violation. The hazardous condition was corrected during the inspection.
