29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: a) 220 Route 73 South, Berlin, NJ- Main floor area: Employees installing security systems were using fiberglass "A"-frame ladders leaned against the back wall as an extension ladder to access the overhead portion of their work which was observed on or about 4/22/15. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
