29 CFR 1910.305(e)(1): Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures were not weatherproof in wet locations:    a) Meat Cutting Area- The employer failed to ensure all boxes and fittings in damp or wet locations, such as the junction box on the Hobart 6801 Meat Cutting Saw, Serial Number 31-1446297, and the Hobart 6801 Meat Cutting Saw, Serial Number 31-1446293, at the time of the inspection did not prevent moisture and water from entering and accumulating.    In addition, the box on the saw with the Serial Number 31-1446297 did not have a tight connection where the service cord exited the box, which could increase the likelihood of water accumulation within the box.  The boxes on both of the saws showed signs of corrosion from the wet environment.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
