29 CFR 1926.403(b)(2): Listed, labeled, or certified equipment was not installed and used in accordance with instructions included in the listing, labeling, or certification: a) North end of the Job Trailer: The 120 volt Utilitech relocatable power tap model 3107, designed and listed to provide power to high concentrations of low powered loads such as computers, printers, radios, etc. was instead used to provide power to high powered loads such as a Haler Microwave; a Haler Mini Refrigerator; and a Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker. b) North end of the Job Trailer: The 120 volt Utilitech relocatable power tap model 3107 was found to be plugged into (daisy-chained) an Innovera relocatable power tap model S9P802P6T, which was then plugged into a duplex receptacle outlet, which is a violation of its' listing.

Outlet devices had an ampere rating not less than the load being served. a) North end of the Job Trailer: A 120 volt six outlet Utilitech relocatable power tap was used to provide power to a Haler mini refrigerator (8.3 amps); a Haler microwave oven (12 amps); and a Hamilton Beach coffee maker (8 amps) with a total amperage of 23.3, which is a larger amperage than the power tap's 15 amp capacity.
