29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Line 4 palletizer: A section of guarding was missing along the left side of the interlocked gate permitting access to the moving palletizing equipment, as observed on or about April 28, 2015.  b) Line 4 labeler: There were exposed rotating parts on the Trine labelers creating nip point hazards, as observed on or about April 28, 2015.  Abatement Certification Required.

29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed:  a) Line 4 labeler: Sprockets and chains (2) beneath the Line 4 Trine labeler were exposed to contact, as observed on or about April 28, 2015.  Nature's Way Purewater Systems Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 727201, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2013 with respect to a work place located at 164 Commerce Rd., Pittston, PA.  Abatement Certification and Documentation Required.
