29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with emergency evacuations. a. Warehouse - On or about April 28, 2015, the northeast exit route door was obstructed by materials such as wood pallets, large boxes, and other items. b. Warehouse - On or about April 28, 2015, wood pallets, boxes and other materials were stored in the aisles and passageways of the exit route leading to the exit doors. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with emergency evacuations.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs must be posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Warehouse - On or about April 28, 2015, directional signs were not posted to indicate the direction of traivel to the nearest emergency exit in the north and northeast of the facility. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazard associated with emergency evacuations.
