29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about April 15, 2015, employees were exposed to injuries from falls, while conducting roofing activities, without the benefit of fall protection systems being in place, on a roof in excess of six feet above the lower surface.
