29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: An employee was observed operating an elevator on a ladder to escalate materials to the rooftop for roofing activities. An employee working directly underneath the load transported on a ladder elevator to other employees retrieving materials on the rooftop, without the use of a protective helmet, exposing the employee to overhead hazards.
