29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. At this athletic field work site, an employee stood on the midrail of a Genie S-60X aerial lift to install electrical equipment to a power pole. The employee was exposed to a fall of up to approximately 50 feet.

29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: At this athletic field complex work site, three employees worked from the elevated personnel basket of a Genie -S60X aerial lift without wearing a body belt or harness with lanyard attached to the basket or boom to prevent ejection from the lift and falling to ground level. Employees were exposed to falls approximately of up to 50 feet.
