29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): All spraying areas were not kept free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary. Scrapers, spuds, or other such tools used for cleaning purposes shall be of nonsparking material: (a) Paint Area: Employees conducts spray painting on 150 pound cylinders and 1 ton containers of chlorine inside of a ventilated DeVilbiss spray booth. The interior sides of the spray booth were deposited with combustible overspray on the walls. The employer does not have a cleaning schedule for the side walls, as determined on May 5, 2015.
