29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Employees engaged in residential roof sheathing operations approximately 18 feet above grade were exposed to fall hazards. Fall protection was not being utilized. Merit Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 960506, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 2233 Misty Creek Trail in Bolingbrook, IL; and in OSHA inspection number 314036880, citation number 1, item number 1 which was affirmed as a final order on August 18, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #6888 in Oswego, IL. Abatement documentation is required for this item per 1903.19(d).
