29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. At the job site, 1623 E. 47th Street, Wichita, Kansas, employees were attaching metal outrigger supports to the side of the building without having a fall protection system installed and used. Employees were exposed to fall hazard of approximately 18 feet to the ground.

29 CFR 1926.760(d)(1): Guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems and their components shall conform to the criteria in � 1926.502 (see Appendix G to this subpart). At the job site, 1623 E. 47th Street, Wichita, Kansas, employee was wearing a harness that was not properly secured to his right leg. Employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet to the ground.
