29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level. At the job site located at 97th and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS, an employee engaged in applying stucco materials to an exterior wall of the building, with the use of scaffolding, was exposed to a fall hazard of up to 10 feet 3 inches from the fourth rung of the step ladder to the ground below. The employee was exposed in that a complete guardrail system was not in place to prevent a fall.
