29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices. a) Americold Logistics Building 6 Machine Room: Pipe penetrations between the ammonia processing room and other occupied areas of the building were not sealed to prevent ammonia leakage into occupied areas in the event of an ammonia release in the machine room. This would expose employee to an ammonia inhalation hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
