29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 1125 Paul Mallard Rd., Luling, LA; On or about May 6, 2015, the employer allowed an employee to work on a roof while not wearing fall protection and not protected by a guardrail system. The employee was applying decking to the roof. The employee was approximately 15 feet above the ground.
