Metal containers and portable tanks meeting the requirements of and containing products authorized by chapter I, title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (regulations issued by the Hazardous Materials Regulations Board, Department of Transportation), shall be deemed to be acceptable.    a) On or about May 11, 2015, Sirpilla RV Centers LLC. DBA Camping World RV Sales failed to ensure that Auto Magic brand Multi-Purpose Solvent, which meets the definition of a category 1 flammable liquid, was stored in an approved container. Auto Magic brand Multi-Purpose Solvent was stored in a plastic 5 gallon container in the wash bay exposing employees to a fire hazard in the event of spill or static discharge.

Failure to evaluate the concentrations of the hazardous chemicals in the work place can result in overexposures to the chemicals and inadequate use of personal protective equipment.    b) Sirpilla RV Centers LLC. DBA Camping World RV Sales - Rossford, Ohio; On our about May 11, 2015, the employer failed to identify employee's exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the wash bay area, such as but not limited to, First Place Finish Interior Protection, containing hydrocarbon and pefluoroalkylacrylate which can cause but not limited, nausea, depression, fatigue, and irregular heartbeat. Failure to evaluate the concentrations of the hazardous chemicals in the work place can result in overexposures to the chemicals and inadequate use of personal protective equipment.

Respirator use without being medically evaluated endangers the employee, in that the respirator can place a physiological burden on the employee's pulmonary and cardiovascular systems.    b) Sirpilla RV Centers LLC.
