29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Rising Sun Contractors/Alders Creek Redevelopment - Employees standing on a deck with unprotected sides are exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twelve to fiifteen feet while working without the use of conventional fall protection. Observed on or about May 7, 2015.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Rising Sun Builders/Alders Creek Redevelopment - The employer did not provide information and training to employees concerning the recognition, evaluation, and control of hazards associated with working at elevations approximately 12-15 feet above ground level. Employees were installing siding from a deck with unprotected sides without wearing personal fall arrest system. This was observed on May 7, 2015.
