29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use [ANSIZ358.1-2004]: a. On or about 05/05/15, at Caribbean Cinemas-Market Square, St. Thomas, VI. An emergency eye wash station was not provided in the immediate area when employees used and/or handled State Industrial corrosive products such as Ecolution disinfectant (dimethyl benzyl and dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chloride), Floor Wizard EZ Guard (potassium hydroxide) and 222 Heavy Duty degreaser (sodium metasilicate) during facility maintenance operations. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
