29 CFR 1915.116(j): Loads were suspended over the heads of employees: (a) On Hull 704; at location HO-5-C: On May 14, 2015, the employer exposed employees to crushing hazards while moving a 31 metric ton center platform over employees with 2 gantry cranes. The Austal USA, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1915.116(j), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 813462, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 8, 2013 with respect to a workplace located at 1 Dunlap Dr., Mobile, AL 36602.
