Employees were using the Membrane Cleaner to clean splices of rubber roof membrane.  Employees were not provided with a written hazard communication program.

Employees were using Carlisle Weathered Membrane Cleaner to clean rubber roofing membrane.  Employees transferred the "Membrane Cleaner" into used Gatorade bottles in order to use the flammable liquid.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system.    a) 838 Fair Street Carmel, NY. - On or about May 1st, 2015 - Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 28 feet in height while engaged in roofing work without the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.       Fischer Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1048321.015, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/22/15, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Ave. C Bayonne NJ. 07002.
