Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards of energized equipment.

The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. a. Cardboard Compactor/Recycling (Bale Master) Machine/South side Panel/Window - On or about May 14, 2015, the guarding device or the Bale Master (Model # 4030G-8, Serial # 09414B) did not prevent employees from reaching inside the panel to perform adjustments to the machine's wiring system process. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards of rotating parts of equipment.
