29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: The employer failed to utilize energy control procedures for the Tannewitz saw serial number 11077. Employees were exposed to amputations. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: The employer failed to ensure adequate machine guarding was provided to protect employees operating the Tannewitz table saw serial number 11077. Employees were exposed to cuts, lacerations, fractures, amputations by contact with the point of operation. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
