29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) On or about December 5, 2014, temporary employees of ETS, Inc. working at BFG International USA, LLC performed hand lamination work and were exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, K133-AAA-00, Siropol 8339, Acetone and Luperox; which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment. ETS, Inc. did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present before their employees were assigned to the location.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On or about December 5, 2014, temporary employees of ETS, Inc. working at BFG International USA, LLC performed hand lamination work and were exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, K133-AAA-00, Siropol 8339, Acetone and Luperox. ETS, Inc. did not provide hazard communication training before placing employees at BFG International USA, LLC.
