29 CFR 1910.23(e)(1): Standard railings did not consist of a top rail, intermediate rails and posts, and/or did not have a vertical height of 42 inches nominal from the upper surface of the top rail to the floor, platform or runway.  a)    Governor Control Systems: On or about 05/21/2015: a top rail was not provided at the loading area of the mezzanine, thus exposing employees to a possible 12' fall hazard.   No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 P.S.I.:   a)    Governor Control Systems: On or about 05/21/2015, an employee used compressed air set at approximately 100 P.S.I to clean governors as a result the employee was exposed to possible lacerations.    No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1915.134(b): floor and bench mounted grinders were not provided with work rests that were rigidly supported and readily adjustable.  a)  Governor Control Systems: On or about 05/14/2015, an employee used the abrasive wheel on the 6 inch Dayton model #2LKR6 pedestal grinder without a work rest to grind a punch as a result the employee was exposed to a possible laceration hazard.      No abatement certification or documentation required.
