29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment was not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:    On May 20, 2015, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were using a pneumatic nail gun and saw. The employees did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to eye injuries.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903(c).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    On May 20, 2015 at the above address employees were performing roofing work on a residential home. The employees were not using fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 10.7 feet.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903(d).

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    On May 20, 2015 at the above addressed jobsite employees were accessing the roof by an extension ladder that was not three feet above the landing. The employees were exposed to fall hazards while accessing the roof.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903(c).
