The existing guard was bent and would not allow the guard to be adjusted properly over the unused portion of the rotating saw blade to protect the employee from contacting the saw blade. b) On or about May 22, 2015 the unused portion of the blade on both side of the work vice on the Baileigh metal horizontal band saw blade was not guarded. The existing guard was bent and would not allow the guard to be adjusted properly over the unused portion of the rotating saw blade to protect the employee from contacting the saw blade.
