29 CFR 1910.268(n)(1)(i): Employees did not wear insulating gloves and/or did not avoid body contact when handling cable suspension strand being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors: 1) On or about 5/28/2015, near 18126 Muddy Creek Road in Prairieville, the employer allowed employees to handle suspension strand being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors and did not ensure that employees wore insulated gloves. 2) On or about 5/28/2015, near 14450 Ridge Road in Prairieville, the employer allowed employees to handle suspension strand being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors and did not ensure that employees wore insulated gloves. 3) On or about 5/28/2015, near 9234 Gail Drive in Baton Rouge, the employer allowed employees to handle suspension strand being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors and did not ensure that employees wore insulated gloves. 4) On or about 5/28/2015, near 42321 Highway 30 in Gonzales, the employer allowed employees to handle suspension strand being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors and did not ensure that employees wore insulated gloves.
